Wednesday Night Free Presentation

I conducted my very first Free Community Presentation Wednesday evening 7/11/07 - Topic was SELF ESTEEM. I was a little worried that this being my first, maybe no one would show up, and there I would be all alone and ready to talk.

Regardless of my advertising for the event and requesting RSVP's - I had not received one RSVP. I had been advised that sometimespeople"just show up", so I held my breath, prepared the room with handouts Ihad made earlier that day, put information on the board and waited...

I thought to myself that if no one showed, it would simply mean that I got to go home earlier than planned.

People showed. 2 were clients from one of the many groups I currently run - I was pleased and thanked them for attending.

I will keep fingers crossed for my next Free Community Presentation in 2 weeks, Managing Depression and Anxiety. :)
