CAMARILLO UMC PLANS CHURCH EVE SERVICES

Featuring a youth drama about Scrooge and a candlelight ceremony, the Camarillo United Methodist Church is planning two Christmas Eve services Monday, Dec. 24, at 5 and 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Both services are free and open to the public.

At 5 p.m., the family service will feature a youth drama based on the story of Scrooge, plus a traditional Nativity scene and special music by a youth combo. There will also be Christmas carols.

At 7 p.m., the Chancel Choir will highlight to traditional service, which will also include meditations by Dr. Jim Decker-Mahin, senior minister, and a special candle lighting ceremony.
