YE OLDE ENGLISH CHRISTMAS FEASTE
Contributed by: Gerald Olsen on 11/13/2007

This holiday season, experience the joys of Christmas in merry, olde England, without the hassles of getting a passport.

The Camarillo United Methodist Church is sponsoring Ye Olde English Christmas Feaste. This delightful event features singers in medieval style costumes singing carols such as "Masters in this Hall," "The Boars Head Carol," and many more favorites.

There are two performances to choose from - Friday, Dec. 14 or Saturday, Dec. 15, both at 6:30 p.m. The program includes a catered dinner from the old English restaurant, Marie Callendars.

On Sunday, Dec. 16, at 4 p.m., there will be a special encore presentation for families with young children. The entertainment will feature the Children's Bell and Vocal Choirs, a magician, and crafts for the children. All children performing in the feaste will be in medieval costumes.

Paid reservations for all three performances are required in advance. For registration details, please call the church office at (805) 482-4312.

To learn more about the church, Sunday services are at the 9 and 10:30 a.m. Infrared hearing sets and large print bulletins are available.

The church is located at 291 Anacapa Dr. in Camarillo, north of Las Posas road. For more information, go to the Church Web Site - www.cam-umc.org.
