Christmas in Winter

Christmas is in winter.

Winter is in Christmas.

It's time to get together again.

With snowflakes on the ground,

And singing carols all around,

It's time to get together again.

With laughter and glee

Oh, what a joy could it be.

To be.

To be together,

Together, again.

The beauty of introducing poetry to a fourth grader has proven to
have had many significant educational experiences. Kudos are
extended to Natalie's teacher, Ms. Sorensen, currently a CAPE
teacher, for her talents in encouraging her students to be creative
in identifying what the season of winter meant to them in addition to
improving their written and reading skills. Her teacher is credited
with motivating Natalie to the point that she continues to read and
write a variety of poems.
