Agoura Hills
The Universal Love Foundation proudly announces the opening of its House of Hope, Center for Grief and Loss in Agoura Hills. The mission of The House of Hope, Center for Grief and Loss is to provide families in the Conejo Valley a safe environment where children, teens and their families grieving a death can embrace and share their grief and begin the healing process. The House of Hope, Center for Grief and Loss provides peer support groups for children from toddler to adolescent and their families. Although our program's primary purpose is to help children, we know that children live within a family. Therefore our program will provide support groups for caregivers as well. All services and peer support groups are free of charge. All support groups are lead by volunteer facilitators trained and certified by Children's Hospital staff child specialists.
Support groups will meet weekly starting on Mondays, October 15, at 6 pm. If you are interested in attending the support groups or volunteering and need additional information please contact The House of Hope at 805-231-3618.
