OXNARD, Calif.-People interested in adding $50,000 in prizes to their chances of winning the House of Ten Thousand Dreams Home Raffle must send in an entry form by 5 p.m. July 31. The drawing will take place Aug. 5. First prize is $15,000 and second prize is $5,000. Third through seventh prizes is $1,000 each. All tickets, including winners, will be reentered for the second early bird drawing on Sept. 16.
Tickets are $150 and can be purchased by downloading an entry form at www.tenthousanddreams.org or by calling toll-free to (866) 720-2582. Proceeds from the raffle will help the Boys & Girls Club expand with a goal of serving 10,000 kids. They currently serve 6,700.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme is partnering with D.R. Horton to raffle off the two-story, 3,195-square-foot, single-family home under construction in the gated Port Province region of the Seabridge community in Channel Islands Harbor. The $1.3 million home includes a 35-foot boat dock, three bedrooms, a loft, three bathrooms and a three-car garage. The winner will have the option of taking $1 million cash.
A total of 18,000 tickets will be sold, and there will be more than 190 early bird prizes raffled off, including a 2007 Fat Boy Harley-Davidson motorcycle. For deadlines, visit www.tenthousanddreams.org. The raffle ends Nov. 4. Early bird winners will still be eligible to win the House of Ten Thousand Dreams.

www.rafflemansion.com is the best place I've ever seen to raffle a home. This is a great idea, and a great charity fundraiser!
