Bring your favorite doll or stuffed animal and join us for stories, tea and cookies and make a special craft! We will have a special raffle for Golden Compass Movie Tickets from Mann Theaters of Agoura Hills.

For upper elementary age kids!

Love to Read? Agoura Hills Library is starting a Book Club for upper elementary age kids (ages 9, 10, 11). Meet kids your age who love to read too! The next meeting is December 13, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. We're reading, "I Was a Rat" by Philip Pullman. Come prepared to discuss the book and make a craft. Meet new friends and have refreshments! Books are available at the library.

Book Cellar for Holiday Shopping! Great Bargains!

With the holidays fast approaching, come to the Book Cellar part of your gift shopping locations! We have wonderful books for children and adults, Books-on-Tape, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, magazines and more! Our donations include recent publications as well as best sellers. Come visit and shop for great selections and bargains. Paperback books start at $0.50 and hard cover books $1.00. Your purchases in the Book Cellar, which is open every Saturday 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. helps, support these activities. This is a great time to sort through your books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, videos, etc. at home, and donate those you no longer want to the Friends of the Agoura Hills Library so that they may be sold and enable the Friends' support of our library. Your support of the Friends of the Library is very much appreciated.
