On Sunday, October 21, 2007, FamilyCare Cottages held the Grand Opening of their new assisted care living home at 820 Calle Cedro in Thousand Oaks. The event marked the first of several homes which the company is planning on launching in the Conejo Valley over the next several months.

FamilyCare Cottages' executive administrators, Debra Sadezwicz and Lisa LoCascio, feel this type of assisted care opportunity has been sorely lacking in Thousand Oaks for quite some time.
