Triunfo Y Offers 2nd Parents Shopping Night Out

The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Oak Park, is giving parents a last minute opportunity to do their holiday shopping while their kids are supervised by YMCA childcare staff. "Holiday Shopping Night" will be Friday, December 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Y had sponsored a previous Holiday Shopping Night in November.

"Our December Holiday Shopping Night gives parents an opportunity to buy last minute gifts, wrap presents or just spend a relaxing night before the real craziness of the season begins," says Chrissy Withers, Triunfo YMCA's childcare program director.

Kids will enjoy a pizza dinner, participate in group games and watch an age-appropriate movie. The cost is $25 for the first child and $20 for each additional sibling. Kids must be in kindergarten through eighth grade to participate. YMCA members and non-members are welcome.

To ensure proper child/counselor ratios, space is limited so parents should call ahead to sign up." "Holiday Shopping Night" will be at the YMCA's Sumac Elementary School childcare site (6050 N. Calmfield Agoura Hills).
