CV YMCA Seeking Health Vendors For Open House

The Conejo Valley YMCA's community open house, set for Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., is looking for health-related vendors for the health fair portion of the event. Qualified vendors must be able to provide information to the public on spiritual, mental, physical or nutritional health.

"We're seeking approximately 20 health-related vendors," says Janelle Achenbach, Conejo Valley YMCA membership and fitness director. "We are looking for professionals in the medical fields such as nutritionists, dentists and chiropractors. In addition, we are seeking professionals representing the mental health field and organizations representing the spiritual community."

Besides vendors, the day will feature games, activities and programs for kids including a climbing wall and "bounce house." Tours of the facilities and membership and program sign-ups will also be part of the day. "A $45 discount will be given to all those who join the Y on January 5," says Achenbach.

The Conejo Valley YMCA is at 4031 N. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks. Open houses will also be held at the Simi Valley Family YMCA and the Miller Family YMCA in Dos Vientos on that day.
