The Heger Tiger at SPLASH 2007

Artist Dorothea Heger can see a tigers face in the ink abosorbed and dried on rice paper, a process she calls solar printing. By drawing with pastels, charcoal and watercolor pencils, she finds the eyes and spirit of the tiger. As a result, the viewer takes a "second look".
Her artwork can be seen, now through September 30, at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery along with 40 other artists of the Doyon Studio and Gallery in Camarillo.
Come take that "second look".
