The Ventura County community officially welcomed the new Regional Leader, Mary Anne Rooney, to Women's Economic Ventures on September 26, with an Open House and Client Business showcase. Over 100 people, including local business leaders, were in attendance to experience the results of WEV's efforts in establishing new businesses. Over 19 local WEV Self Employment Training businesses were represented; from artwork, catering, floral, and retail.

Thank you to the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce and EDCO, who joined in the celebration of this event.
