Eight-Day Christian Festival Comes to Oxnard!
Contributed by: Janis Flippen on 9/21/2007

The Living Church of God will be holding its annual Feast of Tabernacles meetings in Oxnard, California beginning September 27, through October 4, 2007. This eight-day Christian festival, one of the seven biblical holydays which Jesus Christ observed (John 7:10), is a yearly highlight for Church members. During the Feast, friends and brethren gather daily for worship services and family-oriented social events and activities, symbolizing a time of peace during the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. The Church, which has 294 organized congregations around the world, is conducting its Fall meetings this year in 43 sites, in 30 countries across the globe.

The Living Church of God produces the Tomorrows World television program which is shown on 224 stations around the world. The Tomorrow's World is televised locally on KPXN, Channel 30, Saturday at 7:30am; WGN, Channel 307 at 3:00am; TWN (Word Network) Friday at 10:30pm or Thursday at 7:30pm; Dish Network: WGN Channel 239, Sunday at 3:00am. Over 320,000 subscribers receive its bi-monthly magazine, Tomorrow's World, explaining the prophetic meaning behind world events today, as well as daily-living principles for Christian families. In addition to observing the biblical Holydays, the Church also adheres to the seventh-day Sabbath. The Church dedicates its outreach programs to preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to the world using television, printing, and the Internet, all of which is presented without charge or requests for donations. This message includes a call to repentance for modern-day Israel (present-day nations of the United States, Great Britain, and other English-speaking and western European nations), as well as the Good News of Christ's peaceful reign on earth.
