Dan Dunmoyer, Cabinet Secretary and Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Schwarzenegger, will address what lies ahead for California in 2008 and give an overview of the Governor's major agenda items in his keynote speech, Jan. 17 at Spanish Hills Country Club, 999 Crestview Ave., Camarillo. th Annual Meeting of the Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County (EDC-VC) and 59
th Annual Installation of Officers of the Ventura County Economic Development Association (VCEDA).
"What happens at the state level directly impacts Ventura County's economic vitality. Having Dan Dunmoyer talk about the state's future from the governor's perspective will help local business owners prepare for what we anticipate will happen in the coming year," said Bruce Stenslie, EDC-VC president/CEO.
As cabinet secretary, Dunmoyer is the direct liaison between the governor and his cabinet members and all agency and department directors of the executive branch. For the past year, he has served the governor as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor for Policy Development. In this capacity, he was responsible for developing and overseeing a wide range of public policy related issues for the governor's office.
