Arc Ventura County's Sabbath Sunday Celebration, a non-denominational celebration focusing on unity in faith of people with disabilities and their advocates will have it's annual event on Sunday, March 11. This years theme is
"Participation."

The Rhythmic Arts Project as our inspirational speaker, he will be delivering a message you won't want to miss.
Program highlights include music by Jose Gonzales, and the Arc Heritage Valley Choir, as well as musical selections by Pastor Edgar Mohorko and his daughter Sisy. Community awards and recognition will be presented.
Each year across the United States, March is celebrated as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Throughout the month, a group of volunteers distributes information to churches of all denominations encouraging inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in their outreach and ministry plans.
"This is a God thing, it is not about fundraising, religious affiliation or politics. We want to see congregation members with disabilities included and actively participating in churches, temples and synagogues. Inclusion involves more than a ramp...it's participation...being accepted and valued...
The celebration will be held on Sunday, March 11, 3:00 p.m. at the Arc Wagon Wheel Auditorium, located at 2700-B Buckaroo Avenue in Oxnard. The facility is wheelchair accessible. Admission is free and ample parking will be available.
