On May 10, 2007, Ventura County Professional Women's Network will celebrate its 25th year of supporting women through education, mutual support and sharing of resources! The Ventura County Professional Women's Network (VCPWN) is a lively, diverse group of women dedicated to supporting and encouraging others to reach their fullest potential. Founded in 1982, the Network will celebrate its 25th year this May. As quoted from one of the Founding Members, "VCPWN was one of the first organizations in the county to recognize the huge need for professional women to know each other, with the opportunity to develop real networking skills." Instead of the regular monthly meeting, a dinner celebration will be held on May 10, 2007, honoring the history and accomplishments of the women of VCPWN. VCPWN is a unique one-of-a-kind organization started by women and supported by women and presently we enjoy the company of some male members as well. This event will include all members, past and present; spouses, significant others and other adult guests are welcome and encouraged to join us. The special price for this event will be $25 for members and non-members. It will be a seated dinner at the Wedgewood Banquet Center at 5:45 p.m. Reservations are required.
