Kiwanis of Port Hueneme brings back Turkey Angels

For the fourth year, the Kiwanis Club of Port Hueneme has brought back the Turkey Angels. Turkey Angels are people that donate money to fund food certificates to feed the needy during the holiday season.

Each year, the Kiwanis Club gathers donations in partnership with Mary's Market to give food certificates to needy families for the holidays. This year, they've been able to select 25 families from the Hueneme elementary school district. Each certificate enables the family to purchase $50.00 worth of food at Mary's Market.
