Listen to Music By the Sea

Pull up your lawn chair, enjoy the wonderful waterside view, and delight in the sounds of rock, rhythm & blues, swing, jazz and more at the 6 th Annual Concerts by the SeaSummer Concert Series in Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard.

The summer series takes place every Saturday evening starting July 7 and continuing through August 25 from 4-6 p.m. The schedule is as follows:

July 7 The June Echo Indie Rock

July 14 Afterward Indie Pop/Rock

July 21 Ashford Gordon Jazz

July 28 Cadillac Angels Rockabilly/50's Surf Music

August 4 Teresa Russell & Coco Billi Rock/R&B

August 11 Unkle Monkey Tropical Rock

August 18 Blue Cat Express Jazz, Blues & Swing

August 25 Acadiana Cajun/Zydeco

Peninsula Park, located adjacent to the new Hampton Inn, is filled with the sounds of live music during the summer concert series. These family-friendly summertime concerts offer a wide range of musical styles for everyone's enjoyment in an idyllic setting overlooking sparkling Channel Islands Harbor. Parking is provided free of charge to residents and visitors.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the Saturday evening concerts. Concert-goers can also bring a picnic basket or dine at nearby Harbor restaurants.

The 6 thAnnual Concerts by the Sea are produced by the Channel Islands Harbor Foundation, Inc. and sponsored by Jaguar-Landrover in the Ventura Auto Center. Concerts are subject to cancellation due to weather.
