Good Time Entertainment , with their sponsors, Prime Building Materials, VC Reporter and Ink Spot are proud to annouce a Ventura County performance of Grammy Award Winner, Poncho Sanchez, August 10, 2007. Casa Lopez located at 325 S. A St. in Oxnard is the venue chosen for this event. Casa Lopez is unique in it's decor and lay out and was given the thumbs up by Poncho Sanchez's management. This Latin Jazz Dinner Show is presented by the partnership of Mark Delgado, President of Good Time Entertainment and Sal Rodriguez, the current drummer of the world renowned music group "WAR."

"I love this place" said Sal at the first visit to Casa Lopez. "It's a great intimate setting for jazz events and high end dinner shows." "You don't find these venues too often to host quality entertainment" Sal whispered.

Sal Rodriguez has been on tour with WAR performing, along with many other main stream music groups all year and Mark has been on the road with WAR on numerous occasions as their emcee and to sell Oxnard to groups such as Tower of Power, Average White Band, Tierra, Little Joe y la Familia, El Chicano, Malo, George Benson, Boni James, Michael Buble, Teena Marie, Al Green and many more.

Sal Rodriguez has shared the stage with Carlos Santana, Aretha Franklin, Tony Bennett, Earth, Wind and Fire, Alice Cooper, Los Lonely Boys and Los Lobos to name a few. While on the road, Sal and Mark keep in touch with one another and receive public feedback as to the type of entertainment and quality of entertainment the community would like to experience.

Both Sal Rodriguez and Mark Delgado met each other twelve years ago in Santa Paula at a WAR concert that Mark had put together with the Santa Paula Youth in Action program in early nineteen ninety four. Just recently Mark had contacted Sal to book his All Star band for an event that would help an organization with fundraising. During the telephone conversation the two talked about partnering together since they both have a great joy of working with their local community organizations. Putting on the Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Dinner show has been a great working experience for them both. They are looking forward to seeing you on August 10 and saying hello to you.
