First came Roberto Garcia. Then came Miguel Angel Garcia. Now theres 18 yr old Javier "Pelos" Garcia. Miguel, 19 yrs old, is the younger brother of Roberto and has an impressive pro record of 9-0 8 Ko's. Javier, who is the nephew of Roberto, (which makes him the uncle of Miguel) will be making his pro debut in a four rd. lightweight fight Thursday August 10 th at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. His opponent will be Freudas Rojas (1-3-1), a Cuban fighter out of Las Vegas. The Garcia family is so well respected in the boxing community that all their fighters are promoted by Top Rank Inc., one of boxings most respected promotional companies. Javier is trained by his uncle Roberto Garcia and represents La Colonia/Pal boxing club in Oxnard.
