The City of Oxnard Recreation & Community Services hosted it's 11th Annual "Toys No Fees" softball tournament on December 1st & 2nd at the Community Center West Softball Complex, Driffill Field and Beck Park.
Forty teams (women, men & coed) from Camarillo, Ventura, Simi Valley, Santa Maria and Oxnard delivered over $5,000 worth of toys/ gift certificates for the Recreation & Community Services Department's " Breakfast With Santa Program".
The tournament is unique: teams pay no entry fee - each player must deliver either a toy or gift certificate ($10 value) for their participation. Community support covers the cost of awards and Recreation's adult softball staff manage the tournament.
The City of Oxnard Recreation & Community Services appreciates the support of the participating adult softball community in making the 11th Annual 'Toys No Fees" a success.
