Port Hueneme Student Accepted into People to People Academic Program

Zachary Arthur, a student at E.O. Green Middle School, has been accepted into the People to People World Leadership Forum. Arthur will join a select group of students in Washington D.C., September 17-23, 2007 to earn high school credit while studying leadership and exploring some of the United States' most prominent monuments and institutions. From the Capital to the National Museum of American History, Arthur will examine the characteristics of American leadership during times of national challenge and prosperity.

Arthur was nominated and accepted for the honor based on outstanding scholastic merit, civic involvement and leadership potential.
