The reason for this has to do with the complex nature of YourHub.com's page display engine and a Web browser's ability to render it, or properly display its contents. Without getting into the nitty-gritty, suffice it to say older Web browsers (such as those from America Online) tend to have difficulty displaying some of the more complicated pages on the site.
Thankfully, the solution to this problem is quite simple: upgrade your Web browser.
The Mozilla Foundation, a non-profit organization of Web developers, produces an open-source browser called Firefox, and it runs fantastic on YourHub.com.
Designed to run in both Mac and PC environments, the standards-based Web browser quickly and efficiently renders YourHub.com pages without issue. Best of all, the application is free for download.
While we encourage the majority of our users to visit YourHub.com with Firefox 2.0 or later, other updated Web browsers can get the job done equally as well.
For Mac users, Apple's Safari (2.0 or later) tends to work nicely, and for PC users,Microsoft's Internet Explorer (6.0 and later) usually doesn't cause a fuss either.
To check your existing Web browser's version, in Windows open your browser of choice, once open, use your mouse to click 'Help' in the top pull-down menu and then click 'About...'
On a Mac, launch your existing browser of choice, once open, click the name of the application (such as Firefox or Safari) in the top left pull-down menu (you'll see its name in bold) and click 'About...'
If you're running anything older than the aforementioned versions, an upgrade may be right for you.
