Randy Shoemaker, owner of 805Boot Camp, taught over 300 children how to do a proper push-up Saturday at the Simi Valley Street Fair.

The 805BootCamp.com Booth was the place to be if you were ages 4 through 14!

The contest was for all fair-goers, but more importantly, for the children! "They are the most excited to jump down into push-up position!" Randy Shoemaker said.

"I work out all the time, but seriously, my son needs to start doing exercise properly so he doesn't get hurt." says John Hernandez, Simi Valley resident. He laughed and added, "Matthew is full of energy and what better way to use some of it!"

Randy Shoemaker is a certified instructor with the American Council on Exercise and proud father himself. "We love showing proper form to our adult boot campers but it is even more gratifying when we get a child to 'get it'. Their parents are also very proud."
