The last Sunday in April gave our community the opportunity to view six beautiful gardens in Simi Valley.
This event was sponsored by the Simi Valley Republican Women Federated.
The Gardens were various in size, colors, life styles, all full of ideas to use in the vistors' own homes.
The SVRWF used the funds for two Scholarships, sending 2 young men to Sacramento to spend time with the Legislators, giving a Teacher of the Year Award to a wonderful, inspiring kindergarten teacher.
The Unit Club presented $1000 to purchase books in History, Science, Inventions, and Fiction to Hillside Middle School.A $500 check was alsopresented Sycamore Elementary School to help upgrade their School Library.
Community Outreach is one of the various projects of our Unit Club's work.
These various activities are shown in the photos. We appreciate the Community's support on this project each year.
