Eight seniors, out of a class of forty-seven, from Grace Brethren High School in Simi Valley, were honored as Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Scholars at a dinner and ceremony held at the Presidential Library recently.
Library Scholars are chosen from seniors throughout Ventura County who exhibit academic, leadership and community service ideals.
Seniors honored were: Landon Beck, Kaycie Berthelson, Brianna Foy, Caleb Hargis, Andrew Ruiz, Alexis Smith, Mark Sweeney, and Leslie Windham. Beck is the son of Dennis and Sonia Beck; Berthelson is the daughter of Gary and Holly Berthelson; Foy is the daughter of Steve and Kimber Foy; Hargis is the son of Steve and Monica Hargis; Ruiz is the son of Robert and Debra Ruiz; Smith is the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Smith; Sweeney is the son of Richard and Holly Sweeney; and Windham is the daughter of William and Kelley Windham, all of Simi Valley.
