Stagecoach Inn Celebrates Christmas Traditions

Learn how the Chumash, Spanish/Mexicans and early Conejo settlers celebrated the winter holiday season. The Stagecoach Inn Complex will be festively decorated for an afternoon of time-honored customs and the celebrations of our many culturally-diverse early settlers. Come join us!

Among the activities planned are:
Chumash Winter Solstice Ceremony
La Posada and Piñata Fiesta from the Adobe to the Lawn
Jacob's Ladder and Gingerbread-cooky Baking at the Newbury House
Songs, Recitations and Making Tree Decorations in Timber School
Victorian Christmas Traditions and Carols in the Parlor
Mrs. Claus Presents American Christmas Stories in the Upstairs Parlor
Chanukkah Music and Dreidel Game in the Library
Christmas Music in the Gramophone Exhibit
Sankta Lucia Procession in Anderson Hall
Cookies and Crafts on the Back Porch

Shop The Emporium for gifts with a historical flair.

Admission: $6 Adults, $5 Students and Seniors, $4 children age 2-12
Parking: Lot on Susan Drive and along Ventu Park Road
