Rebecca Whitnall, editor

I've lived in Ventura County most of my life, with short stints in Jamaica when I was young and the Bay area for school and work after college. Though I love the circus that is Berkeley, San Francisco and even Burning Man, I'm a So Cal girl at heart and am happy to be back. For the past three years, Before jumping onto the Hub, I worked with the Star's community news team and have written stories about schools, places to explore and fun people in the county. Now it's your turn. I'm excited to read YOUR stories in YOUR words.

Kitty Dill, Conejo  Valley editor

Kitty Dill, M.A., has for decades covered The Conejo, and was named a 2005 Excellence in the Arts Award recipient by the City of Thousand Oaks' Arts Commission. From your corner of the Conejo Valley, post news of your anniversaries, birthdays, employee recognition, volunteers, sports scores, events... whatever is important to you she wants to hear about.

Julie Littman, community reporter
jlittman@venturacountystar.com
Julie Littman graduated from UC Irvine’s literary journalism program June 2006 and joined the YourHub.com staff February 2007.  Julie wears multiple YourHub hats. She edits Camarillo’s YourHub.com, writes stories for YourHub, and designs pages for the print edition. When she’s not working on YourHub.com, she’s reading or buying books. She has a growing collection of books and realizes that she has a book addiction. She recently began a 12-page program to curb her book habit. So far, her progress has been slow and filled with paper cuts. Besides reading, she enjoys writing fiction and would like to write books including a mystery series. She also has a mild obsession with anything related to Hawaii and would like to live there someday. But for now, she enjoys living in Ventura County and looks forward to reading what people post on YourHub.com.

Miguel Morales, community reporter

As a journalist, I believe that great events happen on a daily basis. As an active community member and concerned citizen in Ventura County, Your Hub has provided me with an outlet for my thoughts and news. And I hope all of you will use the opportunity, too. As I monitor your stories, I hope to be reading about all those great events that occur in your life and the lives of others you encounter.
