Hi Ventura. You are such a loving, good, chariatable community. Do you see the homeless ? The Alcaholics ? the Drug Addicts ? They all reside on Ventura Avenue. You can find them as a group at "Project Understanding" Now just imagine. What if ? What if just one family in the community, took one of these "poor Un-fortunates" home for a week ? Do you think that would "mushroom" ? I do. I think we could be a "model city" in helping our poor, in a "hands on" way. What do you think ???

It's Scary Out There

Yes, indeed. the non-smoking world is scary. Mostly it is getting there that is Scary !
Being a Smoker for 40 years, you can imagine my fears.
I am going thru the wonderful program at the Ventura County Health Department.
I started their program about 2 months ago, I used CHANTIX and was very successful.
Unfortunately I am one of Ventura Counties many "mentally challenged" citizens".
Well I am Bi-polar and I went back to smoking, due to a relapse.
I am going to make it this time. I am very determined. I do not want to die. A "little
prayer" for me would be nice.
