The Ventura County Fair's Junior Fair Board is looking for new members! This is the opportunity for youngsters to get involved in Ventura County's biggest and best tradition in a way that is fun and educational.

The purpose of the Junior Fair Board is the training and development of young people in the areas of leadership, community organization, County Fair operation, and to develop an association of youth from the community of the 31 st District Agricultural Association.

Junior Fair Board membership will involve monthly meetings, research at another Fair, contests and events during the Ventura County Fair, and community service in one of the various Fair departments, to be performed at the Ventura County Fairgrounds prior to the Fair . Ventura County Fair dates are July 30 through August 10, 2008
