Contributed by: Alisa Moore on 10/3/2007

Iran and the United States are on a collision course. David Barsamian, recently returned from Turkey, Syria, Lebanon and Iran, will analyze the U.S.-Iran situation and discuss how the growing arms race and war are seriously damaging the environment. He will also be signing copies of his new book, Targeting Iran. Ventura College will present David Barsamian, speaking on " Iran and the United States on a Collision Course" in the Ventura College Theatre, on Monday, October 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. There is no charge for admission to this program.

David Barsamian is the Founder and Director of Alternative Radio - www.AlternativeRadio.org - the independent, award-winning weekly radio program produced in Boulder, Colorado. In Southern California, the program is broadcast on KPFK every Friday from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m., and presents information and perspectives that are often ignored in the corporate-controlled media.

Barsamian is the author/editor of 14 books.
