The Ventura National Association of Social Workers has planned a six hour continuing education course that meets the Board of Behavioral Science law and ethics requirement for each licensing cycle. We are pleased that our presenters will be the Honorable Melinda A. Johnson (ret), J.D., who has served on the bench of the Ventura County Superior Court and James Hornstein, MD., who is in full time family practice in Ventura and co-chairs 2 hospital bio-ethics committees.

Topics will focus attention on two distinct areas of practice affecting diverse populations -Family Life and Healthcare.
