Rincon was sent to join his stepsister, Moira (the cat), on July 27, 2007. He was surrounded by his sister, Princess (the three year old shepherd), and his loving parents, Scott and Patti.
Rincon came into our lives August 1992, when he showed up at Patti's place of work. He was approximately 4-5 months of age at that time. He had a very gentle and loving personality and was friendly to other dogs and people. He was so friendly that Patti and Rincon failed doggy training because he just wanted to play with all the other dogs, even the ones that looked like they were going to attack him. He enjoyed playing with his friend, Gibbs, when we lived on Seaward. We enjoyed long walks to the beach via Vista Del Mar, picking up very strayed tennis balls from the PierPont Tennis Courts. He loved the beach and water. Patti is an avid walker and over the years people would recognize them on their frequent walks. Once while Patti was in Blockbusters, someone came up to Patti and said, "You're the lady with that dog!"
Rincon made many people friends over the years. When we moved to Pomona Street, people would come by the gate and say hello to Rincon. He was always happy to have people visit. The neighbors all knew Rincon's name before they knew ours! He enjoyed his walks and visits with the neighbors when he was out and about, some even providing dog treats. He looked forward to his visits from the postal workers, as some of them would also provide treats as well. Rincon certainly recognized the postal truck and was always happy to see it pull up! Rincon brought such joy to everyone that came in contact with him. He will be greatly missed by his family, Auntie Kay, Auntie Rose, other extended family members, neighbors, and friends.
It is with sincere gratitude that we extend our thanks to the doctors and staff at Buena Animal Hospital for the care given to Rincon over the years.
We have been blessed with Rincon's presence in our lives for 15 years. He was our gentle old soul and we will miss him greatly.
Sweet dreams our precious son.
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
