How High is the Sky???

Well, Well, I wonder how the NIMBY,S & BANANA,S that voted for Morehouse, Weir, and Fulton are feeling about now. The overriding reason that all those fine folks voted for the three incumbents was because they said that those incumbents were against building in the Ventura Hillsides.

The latest thorn in the sides of the NIMBY,S & BANANA,S is the height of the buildings to be built sometime in the future on Main Street and Thompson Blvd. All the NIMBY,S & BANANA,S want the total height to not exceed 1 story. At the latest meeting of the Gang in the Ivory Tower (Ventura City Council) the Gang overwhelmingly voted to allow up to 3 stories along Main and Thompson and even 6 stories at the 5 points area.

So it would seem that all those NIMBY,S & BANANA,S that thought they had the cat by the tail are now wondering what the heck went wrong. I guess I might as well let them in on a little secret, .... you can't trust any politician no matter what they say to you during an election period. Heck you can't trust any politician any time you see their mouths moving.

So all in all once again I get to say, although I really don't want too.... " I TOLD YA SO" don't vote for any incumbent.
