Justice my Patootie!

Can anybody explain to me what is wrong with our so called Justice System in this country? There was a story in the newspaper the other day about a woman who was convicted of trying to steal the secret ingredient recipe that goes into making Coca Cola, she was trying to sell it to the Pepsi Co. She got (8) eight years in prison for that horrendous crime against "Corporate America".

Then there was a newspaper story a couple of days later telling about another woman that was driving at high speed on a local highway, rear-ended a family vehicle killing all seven people aboard that vehicle, including the mother and father plus all the children ages, 3 months, 1 year, 2 years, 9 years and 10 years old. These kids will never have a chance to experience anything in life. The woman if convicted of all counts is facing "up to" a year in jail on each count. That would be a total of (7) seven years, of which she would probably only have to serve ½ of that time.

So it seems what the courts and the justice system is telling us is, go out and commit vehicle homicide, but if you don't want to spend a lot of time in prison don't commit any crime against "Corporate America."
