Ventura College Community Education is providing a wide variety of business and career classes, workshops and seminars for the community this fall.
Some of the classes in this semester's schedule include: How to Become a Professional Organizer, Starting a Career in Interior Redesign, Become a Child Visitation Monitor, Providing Extraordinary Customer Service, Employment Law Bootcamp, Quickbooks 2006 Workshop, Marketing on a Shoestring, Introduction to Voiceovers, How to Build Your Own Business Website and many others.
"Community Education programs are held evenings and weekends to accommodate the schedules of busy business people and individuals who want to learn the skills for a second job, " notes Karen Gorback, Assistant Dean for Community and Economic Development.
"The Ventura College Institute for Community and Professional Development will also design customized training programs in customer service, hiring excellent staff, management and supervisory skills, preventing harassment, business English, and many other topics, as requested by local businesses."
