The Best Christmas Gift of All...

I am 24 years old and I celebrated my first Christmas ever in 2006. I know it sounds weird, but it's true. Well, it turned out to be my first and probably my best Christmas ever. On the morning of December 25th, Aaron, (my boyfriend of two years), and I drove over to his parents house for Christmas brunch. I was excited as I had never partaken in Christmas before. To make a not-so-long story shorter, as we parked the car and started walking up to the door, Aaron pulled a little black box out of his coat pocket, grabbed my left hand, and slipped the most beautiful engagement ring on my finger. As he did this, he said "I wanted your very first Christmas to be special. Will you make each and every day of my life special by being my wife?" Well, it took me about two whole seconds to open my mouth and whisper "Yes". We have set the wedding date for December 23, 2007.
This is turning out to be a great year: Aaron is graduating with a BA from CSU Channel Islands in May. I will be graduating from Oxnard College with an AS in Legal Assisting in December. And we are both partnering up to start our own company in the very near future.
I can't wait to see what Christmas holds for me this year...
