Ventura Heat continues burning up the competition!
It has been a busy four weeks for the Ventura Heat Basketball club. Playing in four tournaments in four weeks, they took home 8 firsts, 5 seconds and 2 thirds in 15 tries.
Congratulations to the 5 th grade team which won all three championships!
The 4 th grade team took second in the only tournament they entered.
The 6 th grade team took home a first, second and third in their three tournaments.
The 7 th grade team had success by taking two first and a third in their three tournaments.
The 8 th grade team, still without their standout center 6'6" Isaac Anderson, came on strong with two firsts and two seconds in their four tournaments.
The 9 th grade team playing in their final tournament before High school basketball started took home a second.
The HEAT take a week off for the holidays before going out of town again to play back to back tournaments. Congratulations to all the HEAT players and good luck in the up coming tournaments!
